Having the pleasure to fly to a state Ive never been to, to photograph a very good friend of mine's engagement session and wedding, left my heart full and head spinning. The whole trip wasn't nearly long enough. The gorgeous mountain's made for a stunning view in every direction. Lori and Jeff had made sure to cover every detail with a meaningful personal hippie touch!
Here's a few words from the bride herself.
"Like every other day of our lives together our wedding day was definitely an eventful one. We knew that choosing an outdoor wedding would have its pros and cons but in the end we were super happy with how everyone helped make it all come together, thunderstorms and all. We called them all the bride tribe because thats what we all are...a tribe. Everyone brought their talents together for many weekends leading up to the big day and I just cant thank them enough for the time and love they put into everything. Our family friend Karen has always been amazing with flowers so I asked her to help us design and decorate the arbor, and bouquets. She did an amazing job, like i knew she would. I also had her make the men's boutonniere's out of my fiance's mothers Chicken and Hen plant that was passed on to me by his brother. I also had mini photo frames of his parents on their wedding day attached to his, his sons, his brothers boutonniere's and his daughters bouquet & a few pieces of that plant were also in my bouquet...Just gorgeous and she kept them rooted so they could be replanted by our wedding party if they chose to do so.
The food was amazing, the music was exactly what we wanted. The only thing we wish we could change was to get married in the morning so we could have spent more time laughing and dancing with our friends and family."-Lori
